For the benefit of those of you who don't yet speak Ginsterish fluently, we at powerdriving.co.uk have selflessly slaved day and night for many months, driving up and down motorways, A roads, back roads and by-ways, and visiting the service stations, shops, garages and supermarkets of the land to eat as many Ginsters as we could, so that we can tell you how good they taste. You can thank us later.

= Cornish Pasty... not a cheese cake!

Note from Jelly - I drew the pasty, it's a GIF and Chief couldn't do any better.

A few words about this monumental Ginsters product, probably the first for all you newbie Ginsters eaters out there, but there is no doubt, that this is in fact a true classic, and today, after many years, is still the industry standard.

In fact, the pepper steak slice is pretty much a national institution, like the flag, queuing, taking the piss out of Germany, and Queen Victoria. Best eaten in a Rolls Royce, listening to Elgar, driving across the green rolling hills of the south downs of this, our Land of Lope and Glory.

God save the Queen.

The connoisseur's choice of Ginsters and a favourite among Powerdriving.co.uk staffers, this slice delivers throughout, from point at which you peel back the wrapper, through to the last transcendent bite.

A very well deserved five stars, in fact the only reason that the pepper steak slice didn't manage its five stars was because it can't match the taste of the Bacon and Cheese slice, paradise in pastry. That, and the fact that we ate a box of 24 Pepper Steak Slices fresh from Ginsters, and we've got slightly bored of them...
